Treatment Planning and Functional Esthetic Excellence

Last week I did something brave. I took a course USA time... further learning in helping my patients to have a balanced bite. The course started at 10pm and finished 7am two nights in a row, and the third night was from 10:30pm -2am (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). I wasn't sure I would be able to do this, but it was a successful time, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I am very grateful the Dawson Academy allowed me to do this, as I would normally have to travel there and back. So the sacrifice of some sleep proved to be quite worth it. As a dentist it is very important to treatment plan properly. That means we need to come up with a logical plan to fix your teeth. That also requires we look at the way your teeth bite together and making adjustments if necessary. It is very important for everything to be in the right place also if you want your front teeth crowned or veneered. This Course was so much fun and I look forward to the next one (there will always be another course). I love the idea of functionally having everything in the right place so it lasts and is comfortable for you as my patients. So the study and hard work is well worth it.
